Marvin is a final year Politics and Sociology student at the University of Manchester and an International Political Economy candidate at the University of Manchester. He is passionate about history and international relations, and he firmly believes that every piece of history can bring inspiration and enlightenment to readers. Therefore, he wholeheartedly desires to present history with a simple presentation so that his readers can build up a solid historical understanding and shape history as tasteful knowledge.

Marvin had profound historical research about the Japanese Army and traditional Bushido relationship when he was a high school student. He elaborated why the Japanese soldiers were willing to adopt suicide attacks when they were suffering losing battles during the Pacific War. Marvin has also accomplished a final year dissertation about how China’s soft and sharp power challenges American’s supremacy. He argues that the U.S and its allies have been raising their alarms in response to China’s growing ambition. Besides, Marvin also joined the LSE-PKU summer school to study the impacts of China’s Belt and Road Initiative. He could exchange his thoughts with Luis Schmidt Montes, the Chilean Ambassador to China during this journey.
